A Moses in Our Day

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." How true this scripture is today, as it was when it was written.

General Conference only comes twice a year, but modern advances in technology allow people all over the world to be able to partake of the inspired words of the Prophet of God. We are not slaves coming out of bondage, running from our enemies through a miraculously divided body of water. But, that doesn't mean that our Creator would leave us, with the temptations of evil across the world today surrounding us and different challenges and trials all around us, without a Moses, Elijah or Jonah for our own times.

No, our Savior has promised us a way to return to live with Him. With the Keys of the Priesthood restored, the windows of Heaven are opened to us in this dispensation, and our Father in Heaven speaks to His servants today, just as He did centuries ago. And they speak to us. Guiding us through the winding roads of sin, sorrow and snares.

He speaks to us. And all we have to do is listen, have faith and continue to keep the Commandments which we have been given.

I am so grateful for this opportunity to hear the voice of a living Prophet. I am grateful for the scriptures and the guidance and direction I feel from them as well. Our savior suffered, died and rose again. He Lives. My Redeemer Lives. And through Him, I will live with my family for Eternity. There is no end. What could be more awesome than these things??
