It SNOWed in Alabama!!!
We had SNOW here in Alabama!! Approximately 2 inches, however once we were awake it was misting (not quite raining). But, we still managed to get some winter fun in!
That is, after.....
We took Zach to the bus stop!! Yes, he still had to go to school!! Even Shawn got to stay home for a couple extra hours. But not until after...
We played in the SNOW!! Shawn and I got the kids all bundled up and went out back with the Dogs, who were thrilled when they first stepped paw outside and nearly slipped off the porch on the way out!
First up... SNOWball fight!!!
Skylah and Ranoah had a blast trying to hit Daddy with the SNOWballs! Ranoah actually succeeded occasionally. They really wanted to make SNOW angels, but the SNOW would have dissappeared, and all that would have been left is red Alabama mud! So instead, we convinced them to build...
an Alabama leaf-covered, clay soaked, spiny, cold SNOWman!!! Complete with twig arms, sweetgum eyes (if you don't know what 'sweetgum' is then look it up) and a stick mouth.
We are hoping this guy sticks around until Zach comes home from school, because we are pretty sure the rest won't!!

We also got snow here in dallas, though it looks as if you got a bit more. Your snowman is so cute, I bet the kids had fun because It sure looks like Shawn did!
