1 - 2 - 3... I'm Free!!!!
One of my fondest memories growing up was that of Family Home Evening. My favorite had to be the time we played water balloon volleyball in our backyard in Mesa. What fun!!!
Tonight we were very hesitant to have FHE because this weekend has been full of acheyness and tummy-yuck. After we sat down to eat our Chicken Soup over Toast (hey, bland, but not too bland, okay), the kids asked if they could watch another DVD episode of Jim Henson's The Storyteller. We pondered and decided to have FHE instead.
We had a very nice discussion about the Good Samaritan, then we proceeded with the FHE activity... Hide-and-Go-Seek!!! Our kids look forward to this every week!! This night was no different, except that people were a little more creative about where they hid...
Za-ach... are you there??
Nope.
Are you in here???
Nope.
?
Wha...????
Under the Water bed!! (Well, under the shelves that are at the head of our bed. Nice thinking, Zach!!)
Yeah!!! We found him!!!!
Olly Olly Oxen Freeeeeee!!!!

Looks like FUN!!
I love a good FHE! We used to play kick the can in our backyard when I was little.
Fun!!
Hide and seek is the best in a house!
Glad you guys are finally getting better.
Your house has the best hiding spots... with us, we are limited so it's a quick game. Jeff and the boys would have a blast over there!
Isn't it "outs in free"? Looks like you had fun!
only a kid could climb into a small teeny tiny place like that! I'm hyperventilating, just thinking about it!
